Life After Dream Kpop Fantasy Concert

I have never really expected much from the concert. Primarily because I did not know most of the groups performing. I was truthfully only depressed and disappointed in my real life that I have decided (quite recklessly) to buy tickets and fly to Manila.

But guess what, that made all the difference! ^^

The concert was a blast! I did a lot of first times as a fangirl. Haha! I will chronicle them later on. I hope anyone reading this on the world wide web will not get bored but instead will learn from the experiences we've had. tee hee!!

So this is a blow-by-blow(?) account of the experiences, various tips, things I will never do again when fangirling(haha!) and the various complaints ☺ I had along the way...

1. I wish the Philippines, or maybe the whole world, is connected with land bridges or still like the Pangaea. If you have read our previous posts, you may have deduced that we do not live in Manila and that we still need to fly to Manila in order to attend the concert T___T  This meant additional expenses on our part.

2. Be careful of airport taxi and trisikad drivers (haha!). This is sad. I just wish I had presence of mind then.

3. Airport Fashion. This maybe foolish for me and Dawnhae to believe because we expected to have photographers and people waiting for us when we landed. Bahahahaha! Still, it is nice to dress nicely and comfortably.

4. Beware of the free Cable TV in your hotel room. And try to sleep when you arrive at your hotel. We did sleep for a few hours but we ended up watching Mnet! Bless our souls.

5. Repeated watching of cable TV broadcasting the same ads and shows every 2 hours causes LSS.

6. Choose a hotel with free breakfast!

7. Be braver next time to actually go inside the Diamond Hotel lobby. (sorry dawnhae... those hotel guards looked like rabid dogs hahaha)

8. Do not ever ever wear heels when hotel stalking.

9. Drink lots of water before the concert and pee ahead.

10. Find a side railing in the moshpit and glue yourself to it like a koala. This will save and bless your fangirling life.

11. Bring lightsabers! instead of lightsticks.

12. Make big banner with your fave idol's predebut photo. Ooops.

13. Bring extra camera batteries. Our camera died after the first performers. Fail. Amazingly, we were able to fancam UKISS because our friend requested for us to film her fave member Dongho. But! Dawnhae and I didn't know who Dongho was among the members then. We only knew Eli whose name we learned after watching a show he had in MNET while we were in our hotel room the night before. Thank you free hotel cable TV hahaha.

14. Do not fancam ever again. I am so bitter in giving this advice. Look at what happened to me here!

15. RESEARCH ABOUT ALL THE GROUPS OR MEMBERS WHO ARE PERFORMING IN THE CONCERT. YOU MIGHT JUST REGRET IT THAT YOU WERE NOT ABLE TO SUPPORT MUCH OR EXPRESS YOUR LOVE TO THE GROUP. This is the least thing you can do.

Note: I personally regret why I didn't know about UKISS before the concert. Yes, we posted about group profiles in this site before the concert. But that was all there was to it. They are such an amazing group (I learned later on when I got home and researched them) and I feel bad for not knowing and cheering for them that much during their stage. UKISS is now placed in a very special place in my heart. ☼ I do admit that when I first saw Kiseop, I thought his body frame(?) was really similar to onlyh :-#

16. I never thought airport stalking can be a great experience. >___<  Well, maybe that was because there were a lot lesser fans who came to the airport when the artists went home and also everyone was organized and not that excited (??). Waaaaaaaaaa we got to see L, bb gurl, and sungyeol and UKISS!!!!

17. And waaaaaaaa I  never expected to meet one of my office mates in the concert venue. This is what I get for keeping my fangirling life a secret HAHA!

18. MOSHPIT IS THE BEST! but beware the washing machine effect. lol we lost the friend whom we met while in line to enter venue. To whoever you are, Hi!! The washing machine effect occurs when the idol group members start to move all around the stage. Everyone in the pit turns, runs, screams, flails towards the direction of their bias and the whole moshpit world swirls HAHA! and you will forget the friend/friends you came with as you follow your bias around. Well, this effect can be prevented if you already have attached yourself to a side railing near the second stage.

Other thoughts:
* Luhan really looks like a baby O.o (and why did you kneel in front of Sehun??!? hahaha)
* Ohhhhhh Yixing!!!!
*Was Taeyeon depressed? Maybe it's just me. Note to our umma Yerene, we were able to fancam their perf using Dawnhae's phone coz the cam already died sorry.
* Tahiti was great at fanservice and their songs were good. Of the groups that performed, I must say that they had the most activities during their stay in PH because they went to shows and interviews, they must have been tired but still they made a good stage. Also, Jisoo is bundle of squiggly squishy fun haha. It seemed she was really having fun. I also think that other members were teary-eyed when they sang their last song Pretty Face :)
*Tasty Twins Daebak!!! Dawnhae and I will cover your dances... jk we cant hihi.
*Infinite Sungyeol is so choding!! Hahahahaha!
*OMG when bb gurl Sungjong (that's what Dawnhae and I call her because) dances!, he's not our bb gurl anymore hahaha
*Dongwoo so bright and bubbly ^^
*Chanyeol! I like you!! Ooooooo and Sehun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*OH KEVIN WOO! OH KEVIN WOO!! WHY! WHY! WHY???!!! DID WE NOT KNOW YOU BEFORE DKFC!!! WE WOULD'VE HAVE BEEN THE MOST WARAK FANS OF YOU EVAH!!!! (loool maybe that was why. the universe wasnt ready for our warakness if we have known you beforehand hihi^^)

Until the next concert!
This is pocketstarfield, signing off.
